WWW Wednesday Dec. 12

WWW Wednesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB over at Should Be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers...

What are you currently reading?

The Keeper's Curse by Diana Harrison. Picked this one up cause I saw one of my friends started reading it, and since I didn't know what to read next, might as well :P. I'm only on like chapter 3 or 4, can't really say if I like it yet or not, but the 3rd-person POV is turning me off. It just isn't working out right now, might get used to it as it goes on, we'll see.

Unravelled by Kirsten Lee. I was in the mood for something funny so I picked this one up, must say I haven't been disappointed yet. The MC is such a scatterbrain and such spunk, really liking her at the moment.

What did you recently finish reading?

V is for Virgin by Kelly Oram. Loved this one. It was such a sweet and funny book. I liked Valerie, she had spirit and stood for herself. Just wish the author would have gone more in-depth with the ending.

Ocean Kills (Ocean Breeze #1) by Jade Heart. OMG I loved this one! I had never come across a book with the ideas presented in this one. The MC is kick-ass and there is always something going on. Should definitely read this one! Bear in mind this is an Adult book, contains mature situations.

Phoebe and the Year of Four (Book #1) by Nya Jade. I kept seeing this one pop up in a couple of blogs I follow and the blurb looked interesting so I picked it up. Happy to say I was not disappointed. Even though I don't usually like books about shifters this one had such a unique take on the shifting that it kept my interest and ended up really enjoying it.

The Emperor's Soul by Brandon Sanderson. The only other book I had read from this author was Legion and I loved that one so I decided to read this one. It was AWESOME! Everyone should read this one.

Dangerous Voices by Rae Carson. This was a really short story, but it has an interesting concept, and would have liked to see it more developed. Short but captivating.

What do you think you'll read next?

City of Dark Magic by Magnus Flyte. Up next is this one. It's the BOTW (Book of the week) for me and my friends. It's interesting but I have been seeing quite a bit of mixed reviews, so we'll see how it goes.

  2. I LOVE all of these covers. Particularly The Emperor's Soul. I still haven't read anything by him [I know, seriously, what is wrong with me?] and that one looks SO GOOD. On my wishlist for sure.

    Happy reading!
