WWW Wednesday Jan. 9

WWW Wednesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB over at Should Be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers...

What are you currently reading?

Paper Valentine by Brenna Yovanoff. Will be starting this one sometime today. It has some mixed reviews, so we'll see how it goes.

What did you recently finish reading?

Queen of Babble: In the Big City by Meg Cabot. The first one in the series wasn't that great, but since I had the second one anyway might as well keep going and I'm glad I did. This one was definitely an improvement from the second one and with that ending I just had to find out what happened.

Queen of Babble: Gets Hitched by Meg Cabot. This one kept up with the second one and must say it was a satisfying ending to the trilogy. You can see my review here.

Altered (Altered #1) by Jennifer Rush. I had been hoping for a really good book judging it by all the great reviews it has from my friends, but alas, this was just not for me. You can find out why here.

The Awakening of Ren Crown (Ren Crown #1) by Anne Zoelle. This was a re-read for me. It was the BotW (Book of the Week) for last week. Some friends and I do group reads every week. Althout lately it's been turning into Book of the Day xD. When I was reading this one again I was able to pick up on some more foreshadowing for the next one, can't wait! You can see my review here!

Shadowlands (Shadowlands #1) by Kate Brian. Had such mixed feelings about this one but it was one hell of a ride. (Review)

Crash (Visions #1) by Lisa McMann. This was a short read, but loved how it flowed and how the MC grew throughout it. Review for this one will be up on Saturday.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Full Moon (Dresden Files #2) by Jim Butcher. I will most likely keep reading this series till I finish it.

  3. I'll be curious to see what you think of Paper Valentine once you really get into it. I love the cover of Crash and think I might need to get it for my shelf just because of that alone. Shadowlands is also on my wishlist and really love the Jim Butcher books. I'm a couple of books behind on the series but hope to get caught up this year.

    1. Paper Valentine..just couldn't get into it. I got to like 7%. I just couldn't stand the way the MC thought. I mean she would associate things to the most random things ever, it was way too bizarre for me.
